The foundation was started in 2001 in memory of Rick Pankow who passed away of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. To remember Rick and to pay forward the kindness received, we want to help others who might be in need during times of distress. Through annual fundraising efforts, we offer assistance to families who are in need and have expenses related to cancer that are hard to pay, and also help people who want to go to school to study horticulture, as this was Rick's profession.

The foundation gives money to help with household bills like rent and car payments. If you, or someone you know, needs help with these things please fill in the form below.

We look at things every month by the 20th and call people after the 1st. We will try to help but are limited. Unfortunately not everyone will receive help but please feel free to reapply.
