The Rick Pankow Foundationβs 25th Annual Trees of Hope
πππππ
On Monday, December 8th, RPF volunteers in elf hats will deliver 140 Trees of Hope to patients spending the holiday season in hospice, as well as to those in outpatient care. The trees are generously donated by Pacifica Nurseries in Woodinville.
Each year, staff and patients at EvergreenHealth Cancer Center look forward to the delivery of the decorated trees. Patients place them in their hospital room, or take home to enjoy. The trees seem to represent kindness, community, and the strength of the human spirit.
Our goal this year is to raise $25,000 in donations to help people referred within the RPF friends and family network, and through EvergreenHealth and Fred Hutchinson. Donations of any size make a difference!
The funds collected will directly benefit cancer patients with their rent, mortgage, utilities, vehicle expenses, and other essential living expenses they would otherwise be unable to pay while in treatment, as well as horticulture scholarships to deserving students.
Please join us again in this annual, joyful event! We are looking forward to decorating the trees and delivering them with love and care. Thank you for being the heart and hope of Trees of Hope.
